Spring has arrived at Govind Farm, and with it comes a beautiful transformation across our orchards and gardens.
Orchard in Bloom
Our fruit trees are beginning to blossom, creating a stunning display of whites and pinks throughout the orchard. The air is filled with the sweet scent of apple and pear blossoms, and the gentle hum of pollinators hard at work.
Planting Season
This is one of our busiest times of year as we:
- Prepare beds for spring vegetables
- Prune fruit trees to encourage healthy growth
- Plant new seedlings in the greenhouse
- Repair and maintain infrastructure after winter
Wildlife Returns
The warmer weather has brought back many of our feathered friends. We’ve spotted:
- Bluebirds nesting in our birdhouses
- Hummingbirds visiting the early bloomers
- Butterflies beginning to emerge
- Songbirds filling the air with their melodies
